I'm John Scott. I've been described many ways. Outspoken. Ruthless. Unethical. One of the best writers on the Internet. A genius. A moron. The devil incarnate. Always well informed. Generous. Pigheaded. Jackass.

Those who hate me don't understand me. Those who love me do. Or maybe it's the other way around. Either way, I'll continue to state my opinions as bluntly as possible.

My articles have been published on numerous websites. I've been quoted hundreds of times, and plagiarized on occasion. My articles have appeared in the print periodical of the Marketing Research Association, on Search Engine Roundtable, and even featured in an SEO newsletter or two.

My primary occupation is marketing consulting, including full time marketing consulting for V7 Inc, a web hosting and design company. I also run Internet Marketing Research and the webmaster forums.
